IZZZIO at the St. Petersburg International Labour Forum’19

Our CEO, Angelika Sheshunova, has participated in the panel discussion “Digital Diploma” at the St. Petersburg International Labour Forum’19 hosted by the Distributed Ledger Technologies Competence Centre of SPbU.

Participants discussed the theme of how blockchain technology can help help employers to quickly and efficiently find suitable candidates. Experts noted that the blockchain will allow to combine much more information about candidates - for example, about their diplomas and achievements, as well as it is a solution to confirm the authenticity of the diplomas.

The panel discussion participants agreed that today it is necessary to create a single “ecosystem” of trust for applicants, employers and educational institutions based on the blockchain technologies. Today, in different universities and companies of the Russian Federation are actively developing services for the verification of documents on education.
