Morning around 10 am i took my phone and open the IRCTC app where i wanted to check the ticket availability in all the train for 31st October but i was not able to find even the ticket for sleeper .
In India ,Railway is the biggest mode of travelling as it provide basic comfort of seating,sleeping,air condition and washroom. I most of the time travel by Train or Flight but today was first time when i had to take ticket without plan .
After spending time on IRCTC app, i was still not finding any seat reservation .The journey from Bangalore to Kolkata is too much distance around 3000 km .
If i wanted then i could take flight ticket but it was company who had given allowance to travel. Even company was also not in urgency to let me reach to destination quickly .
I finally decided to take Bus .Bus i mean not ordinary but luxury where i can sleep in air condition and the facility was top most priotised.
I booked from app a bus called kalusona so called luxury volvo bus.
The boarding point was given to me in bangalore at ITI Gate which i selected as per my convenience otherwise they had multiple destination for boarding.
I was staying at Indiranagar company accomodation in Bangalore so since i had to travel from ITI gate ,I had to reach there on time otherwise its not like railway station where you get platform and sometime . If you can not reach on time then they will not wait for you and you loose your entire ticket money .
I booked my ticket at 6000 Indian Rupees . For reaching to boarding destination i took Auto Rickshaw which took fare 70 Rupees.
Auto driver after 40 minutes ,reached to location but i stopped him and directed to not go exactly to ITI gate because that was landmark ,Bus was not going there .
Auto driver felt little angry because the location i put ,he exactly had plan to drop me.
I felt sorry and told him to drop me to the main road where i can catch bus so he took U turn and finally dropped me to the location from where i can catch my bus. I paid auto man extra 20 rupees and Thanked him.
From ITI gate to Main Road ,it was 800 meter far and the place was very dark so i thanked myself also to direct properly to auto driver.
Anyways, i reached to place 1 hour before to boarding point ,till the time i bought some nuts and had it also tea .
Around 10 pm ,i called bus driver to update me his location and he said to wait ,bus will reach in 10 minutes.
I waited there but suddenly started rain so i felt rush to catch bus and make myself dry . There was one black street dog ,watching me and stood in my front asking may be some food . I just took out some cookies and gave it to him .
Finaly my bus came and i boarded .My entire cloth was wet so i first changed my cloth and then went to my seat and felt relaxed.
The bus took around 34 hrs to reach kolkata and in that time ,it stopped many places to let us have food and drink.
The bus experience for long travelling was not bad .I enjoyed the travel and even bus.
