One of the issues that I stop most when editing images is in the use of the different tools that I have. When I choose a photograph to do this work, the image itself usually gives me some clues about how to do it, although I also try different options to see which one is closest to what I intend to achieve. After a simple edition of the tones, contrast, sharpness and lights I turn to the different options I have to edit in a more artistic way.
In the case of the jet at the source at the beginning I noticed that the bottoms were somewhat obscured so I opted to finish overshadowing them to highlight the sun's glare and reflections on the surface of the water. The small waves produced by the fall of the water helped because they gave a plasticity and strength to the image you are looking for when taking the plane.
