August in my city does not have bad weather. Unlike! It is a month of many celebrations on earth without bad (Corrientes) the first day we celebrate the day of the cane with rue. The rue is a plant belonging to the family of the "Rutaceae"

A tradition that comes from our ancestor the Guarani Indians, according to the story the month of August was malignant, Many people and animals died, as a consequence of the low temperatures of the month of July. There is a popular saying that says "Julio prepares and August takes it."

To chase away the evil days and to invite health and good luck, three drinks of cane with rue are consumed on an empty stomach.

The same day in Argentina we celebrate the day "pachamama" or Mother Earth day, the celebration consists of sharing drinks and meals with Mother Earth, spending the day with nature, thanking her for how much she gives us.

The morning of the first of August dawned sunny, beautiful weather that invited to a beautiful walk, before breakfast we fulfilled the tradition of taking the cane with rue, three little trays were enough

A splendid ideal day to visit botanic of my city, is located very close to our house, the ideal place to pay homage to our mother earth.

The botanical garden "Nuestra Señora del Huerto" is not far from home, after walking several blocks we arrived at the place. We were surprised by a beautiful reception, huge palm trees welcomed us.



The botanical garden is a huge property, approximately six hectares, houses many species of trees and plants, there are floral and aromatic plants.







Our granddaughter Abigail made the contribution of solidarity, I collaborate with the watering of flowers

It is not necessary to mention that in this place an absolute silence reigns, only interrupted by the song of the birds, which make competition who sings better



What more can we human beings desire, to walk through these beautiful places in the company of our loved ones, to have an adult conversation with our grandchildren, it is time to feel fulfilled.



Although the passage of time left nicks in my face in this place I feel younger than ever, my 50 years seems to have no, this feeling is only achieved in a beautiful place like this.
