Travel Gniezno

Gniezno is the birthplace of Poland. It was in this city that the legendary prince Lech saw the same white eagle that can be seen today on the coat of arms of the Polish state. Gniezno liked Lech's places. There are picturesque hills and lakes around, and at the highest place stands a lone oak tree with an eagle's nest. Lech interpreted it all as a sign of the god of the world species and gave the order to build a city that was named Gniezno.
